India will launch Cartosat 2B soon. According to the Chairman of ISRO, this is a high-resolution remote sensing satellite with 0.8 metre resolution that can even take pictures of a car on the ground. It will help in Infrastructre and Urban Planning in India. the launch vehicle for it will be PSLV rocket.

Previously, we have Cartosat-2 and Cartosat 2-A which have been launched January 2007 and April 2008 respectively.
