UPSC will conduct Prelims Exam on 23rd May 2010.
Now 5 days are left. Every candidate has some planning for that.
There are some general guidelines to be followed:
- Never learn new things during these days as they will confuse .
- Try to take min. 6 hrs sleep daily.
- Drink plenty of water daily.
- Made adequate enquiry about your centre of exam. If possible take prinout of the map from google maps.
- On the day of exam take a bottle of water with glucose.
- Always check your UPSC admit card before leaving for the exam.
- Also you must have 2 pencils (HB) , rubber, sharpner and two ball point pens.
- Make arrangements of your lunch as at some places market are very far away. And it is not advisable not to eat during the break.
- As the questions in the Preliminary examination are objective in nature, intelligent guesswork may be used to answer questions when you don’t know the precise answer. While solving the paper you may take three rounds. In the first round solve the easy questions. In the second round may be taken up statement and reason. The third round can have the tough questions where the intelligent guesswork may be applied.
- Just keep in mind that the exam has negative marking, so if you do not know about the question at all try to avoid that qustion for the last. Try Law of elimination and still no clue are there then completely avoid that question.
- Avoid discussion on the previous paper during the break. Just give yourself ample time to rejuvinate for the next paper.
And in the last
Best of Luck for the Exam.
